Text Box: A recent surprise visit by cousin Jaret Carbone and family made for a very enjoyable time. Although It’s been almost ten years since we’ve seen Jaret it seemed like it was only yesterday. It was great having him along with his wonderful wife Karen, and two lovely children, Gia and Jaret Jr. (JJ). To add to the enjoyment, Karen brought her mother Julie. Uncle John (Jaret’s father) and Jaret’s sister Marissa tagged along to be part of the festivities. My brother Joe stopped his power washing and he and my sister in law Gloria came over with a bowl of watermelon. Mom was excited with all the people that were surrounding her. She had a great time. Gia was a real star when she decided to play the piano. She was unbelievable. It only took about two minutes before we were holding our ears. Most of the visit was spent reminiscing and updating each other on what’s been going on in our lives. We also spent a lot of time outside in our huge back yard playing ball with the dogs and just having fun. We really didn’t need much to keep the excitement going. I guess that’s how it is when you’re a close family. Oh, I forgot. To stop Gia from getting all the attention, Grandma Julie decided to pull her hair and get her to wipe the smile off of her face. Just kidding!
